International Journal of Medical and All Body Health Research maintains a strict policy to ensure the integrity of the research published within its pages. In instances where there are concerns regarding the validity or reliability of published research, we have a structured process for issuing Expressions of Concern (EOCs). These are intended to alert the academic community to potential issues with articles while maintaining fairness and transparency.

1. Definition of an Expression of Concern
An Expression of Concern (EOC) is a statement published by the journal when there are legitimate reasons to doubt the validity or reliability of a published article. These concerns could stem from issues such as:

Potential errors in data analysis.
Allegations of research misconduct.
Issues raised through post-publication peer review or community feedback.
Concerns about the ethics of the research.

2. Criteria for Issuing an Expression of Concern
Allegations of Misconduct: If credible allegations of scientific misconduct (e.g., plagiarism, data fabrication, or falsification) are raised, an EOC may be issued.
Inconsistencies or Errors: If significant errors or inconsistencies in the research are identified, and these affect the conclusions drawn in the study, an EOC may be warranted.
Concerns Raised Post-Publication: If the academic community, peers, or other stakeholders raise serious concerns regarding a published article, the journal may issue an EOC until the issues are resolved.
Inability to Contact Authors or Respond to Queries: If the authors of the article cannot be reached to clarify concerns or address substantial issues with the research, an EOC may be necessary.

3. Process for Issuing an Expression of Concern
Initial Investigation:
The editorial team will conduct an initial investigation into the concern raised, reviewing the nature of the issue and assessing the evidence provided.
Communication with Authors: The authors will be contacted and given the opportunity to respond to the concerns. The authors may provide additional information, clarification, or corrections.
Peer Review (If Necessary): If the concerns are related to the scientific or technical validity of the research, a new round of peer review may be conducted to evaluate the article's reliability.
Decision: After the investigation and review, the editorial team will decide whether to publish an EOC. If the issue cannot be resolved, the journal may decide to retract the article or take other corrective action.

4. Content of an Expression of Concern
The EOC will be clearly labeled as such, ensuring that readers understand it is a separate statement from the original article.
The statement will provide a clear description of the concern raised, outlining the specific issues identified.
The journal will specify whether the authors have responded to the concerns or if further action is pending.
The EOC will remain publicly available with the article to ensure transparency in the resolution process.

5. Post-Publication Correction
If concerns raised in an EOC lead to a retraction or correction, the journal will ensure that the original article is amended or removed accordingly.
In case of retraction, a Retraction Notice will be published with a clear explanation as to why the article was retracted.

6. Confidentiality and Fairness
All communications related to Expressions of Concern will be handled with confidentiality and professionalism.
The journal will act impartially, ensuring that both the concerns and the authors' perspectives are fairly considered throughout the investigation.

7. Transparency and Accountability
The International Journal of Medical and All Body Health Research aims to uphold the highest standards of transparency, ethics, and accountability in all publication matters.

Any EOC issued will be communicated clearly to the academic community to safeguard the quality and integrity of the journal’s content.
