IJMABHR maintains strict editorial independence. The Editor-in-Chief and members of the Editorial Board exercise autonomous and impartial judgment in all matters of manuscript evaluation, peer reviewer selection, and publication decisions. No external party — including the publisher, funding agencies, commercial sponsors, or institutional stakeholders — exerts any influence over editorial decisions. Editors manage manuscripts in accordance with the journal's published policies and applicable COPE guidelines, and declare conflicts of interest in conformity with the journal's Conflict of Interest Policy.
IJMABHR adheres to the highest standards of publication ethics. The journal follows the COPE Core Practices and the ICMJE Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing, and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical Journals. These standards govern all aspects of the editorial process, including authorship criteria, conflict of interest disclosure, handling of research misconduct allegations, data integrity, corrections and retractions, and editorial complaints procedures.
IJMABHR is a fully open-access journal. All content is made freely and immediately available online upon publication, without subscription charges, registration requirements, or access embargoes. Authors of articles published in IJMABHR retain copyright of their work. By submitting a manuscript and consenting to publication, authors grant IJMABHR and ANFO Publication House a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to publish, reproduce, distribute, store, archive, and make the article publicly accessible in all current and future formats and media.
Authors may self-archive, deposit, and share their published articles — including the final published version — provided that appropriate citation to the original publication in IJMABHR is included and the terms of the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 licence are respected. Prior written permission from the publisher is not required for such non-commercial uses.
All original research articles, reviews, and clinical studies submitted to IJMABHR undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process. Following initial editorial screening for scope, plagiarism, and minimum quality thresholds, manuscripts are assigned to at least two independent expert reviewers. The identities of both authors and reviewers are mutually concealed throughout the review process. The Editor-in-Chief, in consultation with handling editors, makes the final editorial decision based on reviewer recommendations and editorial judgement.
The journal aims to provide authors with an initial editorial decision within four to six weeks of submission. Authors receive structured reviewer feedback regardless of the editorial outcome, allowing for meaningful revision and resubmission where appropriate.

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) or large language model (LLM) tools in the preparation of manuscripts must be transparently disclosed by authors. AI tools may not be listed as authors; authorship requires accountability that AI systems cannot fulfil. Authors are fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of all content, including any portions assisted by AI tools. The use of AI tools in the peer review process by reviewers is not permitted without prior editorial approval, as it may compromise confidentiality obligations.
