<p>This narrative study seeks to investigate the interaction between Clostridium perfringens and ECM proteins present in bones and cartilage, which are important factors in the body’s movement in individual division, causing the decomposition of dead tissues in the body into necessary materials for their nutrition, which reliably prevents innate and acquired immune responses, thus providing amino acids and other nutrients necessary for the bacteria to flourish and multiply. Recently, live and laboratory experiments have found that bacteria produce collagenase and stimulate the decomposition of collagen present in bone and cartilage tissues which may cause them to lose their natural structure and physiological functions. Finally, it has been shown that the importance of the research has reached the effect of the pathogen on the degradation of collagen in bones and cartilage.</p>
